- Creates building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand, and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications.
- Liaises with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects.
- Works around constraining factors such as town planning legislation, environmental impact, and project budget.
- Works closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors, and architectural technologists.
- Applies for planning permission and advice from governmental new build and legal departments.
- Writes and presents reports, proposals, applications, and contracts specifying the requirements for the project.
- Adapts plans according to circumstances, and resolves any problems that may arise during construction.
- Plays a part in project and team management.
- Travels regularly to building sites, proposed locations, and client meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
- 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent.
- Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, and other rendering programs.
- Quality and design oriented.
- Must be a team-player and pro-active.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
