Job Description
- Gather audit evidence through directly querying systems; querying and extracting the data, reviewing and confirming the data is complete, and notifying the supervisor when the data is ready to be reviewed
- Request and gather audit evidence from the IT operational teams; requesting the evidence through the proper channels, confirming the correct evidence has been provided, escalating as necessary, and notifying the supervisor when the data is ready to be reviewed
- Assists with preparing client IT Security questionnaires submitted to clients and potential clients (e.g. RFPs); completing the questionnaires based on the answers maintained in the repository, obtaining and confirming answers with IT SMEs, and escalating as necessary
- Facilitate quarterly user access reviews; answering end user questions, reassigning reviews, and provide reporting to their supervisor on outstanding items on items
- Perform periodic data gathering and analysis for monitoring of compliance against security policies, and other compliance requirements, as applicable
- Review own work before submitting it.
- Update knowledge base information
- Upholds the Crawford Code of Conduct
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in an analytical role in IT
- IT audit experience or working with IT auditors is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.
- Amenable to a night shift schedule.
- Fluency in English is required
- Attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Professional phone manner.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Analyze, solve and communicate solutions to problems in an efficient, clear, and understandable manner.
- Allocate time effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- Handle multiple demands and competing priorities and adapt to new ideas and changes.
- Familiar with IT processes, risks, and controls in the computer operations, system development, change control, and security functions.
- Familiarity with information technology frameworks, guidelines, and standards such as COSO, COBiT, ISO 27001/27002, etc.
- Familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) and IT General Controls (“ITGCs”) in a variety of technical environments, including mainframe, Unix, Windows, Oracle databases, SQL databases, etc.
