Job Description
- Responsible for the development, monitoring and implementation of Loans Collections strategies
- Identify and pursue opportunities that enhance the collectability of financial return upon impaired assets by improving the decision tools, treatments and strategies used within Loans Collections processes
- Setting up fraud management and operations practices to reduce delinquency ratios
- Own the day to day relationship with Credit Operations to execute strategies and enable delivery of portfolio Collections performance in line with agreed business plan and service level agreements.
- Audit, review & document Collections policies, strategies & practices
- He is required to set up sound Collections processes while adhering to the Fair Practices Code.
- Monthly Delinquency Reports
- Managing end to end collections
- Coordinate activities of staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient department that reduces the number of cases that are overlooked.
- Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and invoices to minimize profit loss while ensuring it is handled appropriately and per company policy.
- Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt.
- Develop goals that complement the overarching business goals of the company and coordinate staff to continually meet and exceed goals.
- Run reports and analyze data pertaining to the department and share with executive staff and managers of department staff as needed.
- Communicate with clients to build and maintain a strong working relationship and reduce the number of clients who stop working with the company.
- Implement credit policies and procedures that retain a smooth running of the department and avoid excessive credit limits.
- Other analogous tasks
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance;
- Minimum of 5 year-experience in Credit and Collection
- Knowledgeable of high-volume collections and billing procedures and practices
- Has high attention to details and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent collaboration, verbal, and written communications skills;
- Extensive experience in credit and finance.
