Job Description
- Directs and coordinates the Transactional Operations (pickup and delivery, documentation)
- Monitors Transactional Operations and ensures constant optimization to deliver maximum productivity
- Ensures compliance with group business strategy and local business environment, adhering to regulations and internal procedures
- Manages interface with Customer Service, Product, and Global
- Service Centers, if required
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-3 years work experience in Oceanfreight operations in a managerial capacity
- Extensive knowledge of Oceanfreight Export/Import Operations and Customs requirements
- Proven track record in people management role (leadership, motivation and people skills)
- Easily capable of making well informed decisions
- High degree of commitment to excellence and analytical
- Knowledgeable in Cargowise One system (an advantage)
- Excellent written and verbal command of the English language
