Job Description

  • Provides first line IT support by trouble shooting problems with computers, LAN, Network and server
  • Follows and implements IT systems changes and maintenance according to defined standards
  • Build and install PCs, software’s, wireless networks and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with department standards.
  • Provide assistance to third-party network managing service on their network procedures, setup, testing, etc.
  • Responsible in Maintaining the conference/ meeting rooms open every morning and test all the devices (Mic, webcam, keyboard and mouse) are properly working every day.
  • Computer Troubleshooting – Laptop desktop computers, printer, NUC, LAN, etc.
  • Network Devices Troubleshooting including the wireless router, access point devices, biometrics, CCTV’s, and configuring VOIP phones.
  • Internet Troubleshooting- Identify the slowdown and addressing the problem to the proper handlers.
  • Provides advice and guidance to the management regarding incidents
  • Responsible in maintaining all computer hardware to ensure proper working conditions and ensure the company is legally complying with licenses and warranties.
  • Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems and peripherals with routine maintenance
  • Perform fieldworks in purchasing of computer and IT supplies (Situational).
  • Proper inventory and registration of computers and other IT supplies.
  • Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with department guidelines.
  • Create, maintain, logs, and distribute reports of progress to senior or management.
  • Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the IT department

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • At least 1 year work experience as Desktop Support Engineer or Support Technician.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals.
  • Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems.
  • Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
