Banquets | Events Sales Manager  

This individual is responsible for selling the total hotel in active support in the rooms and catering merchandising efforts. Focuses on championing customer and owner objectives in support of the hotels Mission Statement is of paramount importance. This position requires active participation in the direct sales effort with focus on market priorities under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales. The Sales Manager is expected to have direct involvement with guests and clients.

Key functions

• Participates in catering expos and events.
• Conducts sales calls.
• Ensures a satisfied guest base.
• Maintains 70% sales activity and 30% administrative mix of time.
• Maintains a level of solicitation.
• Coordinates with general manager, sales, F&B team, and kitchen.
• Manages a catering sales team.
• Develops monthly plans and sales ideas.
• Meets with clients, negotiates rates, and ensures smooth booking / reservation process.

• 2 years hotel sales experience
  • Evident success in sales and CRM.
• Background in general catering/banquet operations.
• Able to perform the following:
  • Adapt to changing work hours.
  • Work in the weekends (offset) during the weekdays).
• Able to quickly calculate figures and amounts.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Oral and written in English and Filipino
