- Develops, implements, and maintains the following:
- Back office systems (Non-HIS)
- Interface with HIS
- Other specialized hospital systems in Ancillary and Nursing.
- Oversees and manages all the current business software applications being used by the Back Office (Accounting, Treasury, Purchasing, Inventory Management and Asset Management) and non-Hospital Information Systems (non-HIS).
- Analyzes performance of programs and recommend action plans such as modifications, or upgrade of systems to correct deficiencies based on consultations with end users.
- Analyzes data processing problems, and provide solutions by programming software changes, implementing software upgrades, or developing new programs.
- Studies the current systems, and software used, regularly.
- Recommends modification on any existing programs, and systems infrastructures to meet the organization’s new or expanding needs.
- Performs repair or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency, or adapt new requirements.
- Tests applications and systems for functionality and quality management assessments, regularly.
- Considers whether networks, workstations, central processing unit of the system, and/or peripheral equipment are responding to all program instructions and are capable to support newly created programs and modifications of systems and software.
- Writes, analyzes, reviews, and rewrites programs using flow charts and diagram and apply knowledge of computer capabilities and symbolic logic or codes.
- Documents new program instructions or manuals to guide end users.
- Documents programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
- Administers and maintains database servers and data archiving infrastructures.
- Maintains confidentiality of information being processed, stored and accessed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Visual Foxpro is required.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
