- Organize and maintain financial records.
- Acts as the overall head of Accounting department.
- Improve businesses efficiency where money is concerned.
- Suggest ways to reduce costs.
- Give recommendations to enhance revenues and improve profits.
- Examine statements to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure prompt payment to suppliers.
- Inspect accounting systems to keep up to date.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Preferably at least 2-3 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
- Strong accounting skills and attention to detail required.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Microsoft Access and Project is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer-based accounting applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrates consistency in values, principles, and work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners.
- Ability to multitask, work successfully under pressure, and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload to meet client needs.
