Sales Representative  

We're a tech start-up with a new product and we need help establishing market awareness and increasing revenue. Our culture is a fun and open learning environment. We have team building activities and trainings not just on the hard skills but also with soft skills.

We're looking for a team player who thrives in an open, young and cooperative environment. The sales rep should be willing to learn everything about our industrial product and reassess its marketability.

• Establish new business opportunities with potential customers through cold calling, telemarketing, provided leads, networking and client/associate referrals
• Work to establish add-on business with existing customers
• Maintain an organized and easily accessible filing system (sales leads, prospective business, new business activity, add-on business activity, forecasting, quota details, etc.)
• Achieve monthly and yearly quota requirements
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of our products
• Attend industry and product-related training programs, conferences, seminars, and educational forums
• Work to build long term relationships with the customer base
• Provide accurate price quotes in a timely manner to customers
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Has at least 2 years previous sales experience
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Professional demeanor both on the phone and in-person
• Previous customer service experience
• Ability to remain organized while handling multiple projects/tasks
• Has a knack for building relationships
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, customers, and vendors (verbal and written)
• Experience in a position that deals directly with customers (front-line)
• Preferred: Experience in the logistics industries
