Job Description

You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams in this role. Being aligned with all stakeholders must be second nature to you. It’s crucial for this stint that you create and maintain focus, up the enthusiasm and momentum during the daily grind.

With you onboard, merchants of our Swiss messaging client will be taken care of. Their needs and queries monitored and addressed with the flick of a finger. At the same time, you insure that end-users are all smiles as you oversee a band of well-trained support agents (By band we mean seven) assist their needs. You are, after all the point man responsible for planning the program flow and monitoring its progress, resolving issues or pre-empting potential trouble spots along the way.

You will be managing the program's budget and keep track of the expenses and costs, which will be bumped against delivered and realized benefits as the program progresses. If there’s a need, go ahead and book an appointment with individuals, stakeholders, merchants down to teams just to ensure that the product functions smoothly, the service is seamless and the level of quality is up there. Of course, all this must be documented, so report the progress of the program at regular intervals.

Hire Status

The role is a project-based on a ninety (90) day contract from October 2017 to January 2017. Successful hires will be offered competitive salary package and you will also be provided with opportunities to progress into higher levels of responsibility as the project progresses.

Available Shifts:

  • 09:00 am to 06:00 pm

What you'll do:

  • You must have Sales experience in the Tech or Fintech industry either in POS, Mobile wallets or related area and have supported sales force team
  • Identify and generate prospect opportunities to new merchants, aligned to company goals
  • Coordinating and fulfilling all documentation requirements. Ensuring merchant setup, support and manage first one hundred (100) days to ensure a flawless activation
  • Work in tandem with the Merchant Acquisition team and very closely with other teams for referral opportunities and revenue growth
  • Continuously upgrade and innovate sales techniques to maximize productivity
  • Contribute to the short-term and long-range planning to support strategic business goals of the Company
  • Serve as End to end lead management and business development, Client acquisition campaigns and lead generation
  • Responsible for service delivery ensuring client retention and reference
  • Provide the market intelligence, data analytics and insights for the marketing team to launch the right promotional and customer communication initiatives
  • Developing and maintaining of database & regular reporting & follow-ups Agile enough to work across verticals
  • Assess opportunity to expand Merchant coverage by partnering with Banks/ Aggregators
  • Alignment with internal teams for opportunity assessment and deal signing
  • Liaise with support groups within the respective teams in partner entity to facilitate implementation
  • Work with existing partners to grow the acceptance footprint and increase in Amex share
  • The position is also directly responsible for meeting planned numbers of new merchants to be signed through the channel, other sales quality parameters, managing multiple partners, including training, coaching, monitoring, and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in their hierarchy.
  • Acquiring merchants, who will use the mobile App
  • Nurturing these relationships to establish mutual trust- Collaborating with managers in the Company to identify opportunities for your merchants

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least one (1) to two (2) years experience customer service experience via live chat and email
  • Ability to do the following:

    • Prioritize and complete all job duty requirements
    • Adhere to schedule changes based on department and/or business hours
  • Excellent attendance record in previous employment
  • Amenable to working on rotating and shifting schedules, including on weekends and holidays
  • Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to change
  • Exposure and work experience gained within the Call Centre, BPO and start-up tech industry.
  • Effective reading and writing English communication skills
  • Excellent in the following:
    • Communication, analytical, listening and organizational skills
    • Customer service skills and great enthusiasm for helping customers
    • Time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Must be an energetic self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Competent in MS office and web browser environments
  • Knowledgeable of social media applications, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
