Job Description
- Develop and maintain websites for our products based on the technical and functional specifications provided by the client.
- Develop and maintain web services and systems that ties into our products’ websites.
- Provide proof-of-concepts for new technical solutions.
- Help identify probable cause and provide immediate solution during an incident.
- Write clear and concise technical documentations for technologies used by the team.
- Provide assistance to other developers/projects as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments within the organization and with third- party partners and affiliates.
- Utilize source control tools such as Subversion for maintaining code versioning and releases.
- Test the website on different browsers and identify any technical problems.
- Work with the team to manage, optimize and customize multiple web applications.
- Attend daily meetings to report on assigned tasks’ progress and attend fortnightly meetings for project planning and other meetings from time to time.
- Complete tasks & deliver projects on-time and to the highest standards.
- Contribute significant ideas for making the application better and easier to use.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building beautiful websites in javascript, HTML and CSS with Drupal.
- 3+ years of experience building web services and/or web based applications using CodeIgniter (or any other PHP framework)
- Most recent project uses Drupal as a CMS framework.
- Knowledge with Symfony2 framework is a plus.
- Proficiency in database architecture and design with MySQL
- Experience in working with multi-tiered architectures along with some experience with service- oriented architectures (SOA) and web- services development
- Knows how to ship code in quick, iterative cycles
- Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Ability to write and interpret technical documentation
- A team player and able to work in a group
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in troubleshooting (and fixing) issues on live websites
- Can adapt and grow professionally in a complex and fast-moving environment
- Willing to work beyond the required working hours (emergencies only)
- Independent but collaborative, driven, assertive.
- Background in Online Gaming is preferred but not required.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
