Most of BAG electronics products are being exported to Germany and the rest of Europe, South Africa, and other Asian countries. Meanwhile, we are also actively selling our products in the local market. With a common goal to promote awareness for advantage of using electronic ballast against conventional ballast, the company regularly conducts technical lectures to various professional organizations around the country. It also accommodates plant tour among engineering students from various colleges and universities. The company also shows active participation in several Exhibitions (WorldBEX, German Month, Philconstruct, PSECE, IIEE Regional and National Conferences) for promotional activities. This widened BAG‘s reach in making a name not just abroad but locally. BAG electronics (Bronzewarenfabrik Aktien Gesellschaft) is originally a company in Switzerland which was acquired by a world-class leader in manufacturing of control gear for various lighting applications. The company’s former name is Trilux Electronics and Luminaires, Inc. which started its Philippine operation in April 1998. It is traceable to its mother company Trilux GmbH & Co. KG, which is a leading technical luminaires manufacturer in Europe with headquarters in Arnsberg, Germany and has been in the industry since 1912. BAG electronics, Inc. occupies a total factory area of 5,244 m² in the Special Economic Zone of Laguna International Industrial Park (LIIP) in Mamplasan, Biñan, Laguna. As a DIN EN ISO 9001 certified company, BAG electronics has always been synonymous with excellent quality standards. Being in the business for more than a decade, BAG electronics has done a lot of contributions to the thriving economy of the country. It opened employment opportunities to its approximately 380 Filipino employees. BAG electronics, Inc. aims to give even more employment opportunities in its future expansion. Further, it supports the government’s advocacy towards energy conservation through its products: Energy Saving Electronic Ballasts also equipped with Program Warm Start Technology that prolongs the life span of lamps, thus, reducing the disposal of hazardous lamps to the environment.
