Job Description
The multi-awarded Filipino-Origin fine chocolate company is now accepting applicants for the role of Junior Accountant - Cost. The Junior Accountant-Cost is responsible for the Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor. The succesful candidate shall also analyze actual manufacturing costs and determine profitability and maintain cost data.
Responsibilities
- Planning, collecting and studying data to determine costs of a business activity.
- Recording cost information to use in controlling expenditures.
- Audit costs incurred and prepare the cost reports.
- Estimates new and proposed product costs.
- Assist in the month end closing.
- Assist and monitor physical inventory count.
- Reconcile finished goods inventories.
- Compute Landed Cost of imported purchases and assign cost for each item
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. Accountancy Graduate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cost Accounting
- Ability to prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports.
- Highly proficient in Excel, MS Word, andPowerPoint.
- Preferably CPA
