Full Stack Web Developer  

The ideal candidate will be able to jump right into a software engineering role. Looking for a strong character who is very assertive and articulates technology well. This person needs to understand the buzzwords not just say / use them. This person should have a focus on performance and needs to know how to build a complete application End-to-End with a user and usability focus. They should have a passion in learning new technologies, innovate and collaborate with other developers.

The candidate should be passionate, hardworking and a dedicated (PHD) team player. The ability to work individually on a project or in a team with high quality results at time must be a given. High self-motivation, self-organization, & persistence with desire to outperform is key to excel at this role.

Responsibilities

• Full Stack Engineer capable of designing solutions, writing code, testing code, automating test and deployment
• Overall delivery of software components working in collaboration with mobile development teams
• Writing clean, understandable code with comments, all managed by using git
• Collaborating with other technology teams to ensure integrated end-to-end design and integration.
• Enforcing existing process guidelines; drives new processes, guidelines, team rules, and best practices.
• Mentor and raise the game or teammates in all areas.
• Full participation in the Agile Scrum process (supported by JIRA) including speaking up and giving your opinion!
• Ready, willing, and able to pick up new technologies and pitch in on story tasks (design, code, test, CI/CD, deploy, etc)
• Able to research and learn new methodologies and technologies and bring knowledge to the team
• Build awesome software solutions
• Develop, maintain, and implement a broad range of web and mobile based client tools including Web Application, Content Management Systems, Dashboards and custom applications
• Attention to detail; we like to do it right the first time

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Sciences or related
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing responsive web applications using PHP, HTML5, CSS3 and SQL
• Minimum 1 year experience developing RESTful APIs

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS

Front-End

• Web fundamentals like HTML 5, JavaScript, and CSS 3
• CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS
• JavaScript frameworks like jQuery and Vuejs as well as JavaScript-based build tools like Grunt, Gulp, and Bower
• Front-end (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap
• AJAX
• Social media SDKs: Facebook, Google+ & LinkedIn
• Responsive and adaptive design

Back-End

• API design and development: PhalconPHP or Lumen
• Integrating 3rd party APIs
• CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete)
• RESTful Services incl. using postman
• Websocket
• Server-side language PHP
• Database technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB.
• Web server technologies like Nginx, Apache, etc.
• Mail services API like mailgun, mailchimp, gmail for business, etc.
• Server-side frameworks: Laravel, CodeIgniter & Wordpress
• AWS technologies: CloudFront, Elasticache (Redis), EC2 & RDS
