Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:


Responsible in providing the information requirements and system needs of the digital products and services. He supports the day to day systems applications running on the ground and helps in planning, budgeting and managing the digital products and services.


Supports the IT Digital Officer in the implementation of policies, procedures, systems, standards and continuous process improvement initiatives that will bring about efficiency to the group. He is responsible for gathering and understanding all information requirements that may impact the design and delivery of global information systems. He delivers the information requirements in a timely manner and in the most cost effective way.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ICT Management and Governance

  1. Account Management
  • Hold account management meetings
  • Ensure alignment of IT plans/projects to the digital plans/projects
  • Provide regular update on the projects, services rendered (including SLAs), system issues and IT plan

2. IT Policy and Process Development and Management

  • Implement and monitor compliance to IT policies, procedures and standards
  • Provide inputs in the development and documentation of standards and principles that will encompass business requirements documentation, systems design and testing
  • Work with Global IT and Digital team in developing detailed procedures in relation to applications design and testing
  • Assist the process owners in the development of detailed policies and business processes by providing inputs where functions and features of applications and technology solutions can contribute to process streamlining
  • Support IT audits and implement solutions that will address any audit findings

3. IT Performance Management

  • Review, analyze and report IT KPIs and SLAs
  • Provide support for Global IT in the implementation of systems that will help improve the delivery of IT services

Planning, Budgeting and Status Reporting

  • Provide inputs to the creation and delivery of regular management reports on projects, issues, cases and change requests

Automation and Process Streamlining

  • Ensure that all systems are properly implemented within standards, specifications and agreed timelines
  • Work closely with Solutions Delivery, Digital Team and Parent IT in providing the required inputs during the pre-project initiation and project initiation stages of any project
  • Work closely with IT Solutions Delivery, Digital UI/UX designer and Technical lead, and business process owners for all stages of systems development and implementation
  • Ensure that production issues are given proper and immediate attention – investigated, resolved and escalated as necessary
  • Ensure adherence to the escalation process and give feedback that may help improve the escalation process

Organization and Optimization of Knowledge Assets

  • Provide support in the implementation of decision support systems by way of database design verification and data provision
  • Ensure data integrity and data availability

Network Infrastructure, Access and Security

  • Ensure processing of regularly scheduled requirements of application systems and handling of adhoc requests in accordance to established guidelines
  • Recommend process solutions for work implication and more efficient operations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS degree, preferably Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other related field
  • Relevant experience in the IT environment with at least 5 years of work experience or combined exposure on programming, Systems Analysis and Design, Systems Implementation/Administration, Technical Support and Project Management
  • Able to partner with Technical teams and Business Process Owners to clarify requirements and manage the design of the solution that will address the business needs
  • Displays planning, leading, organizing, controlling, decision-making and resourcefulness abilities
  • Working knowledge in computer systems, operating systems, database, software applications and computer networking
  • Extensive knowledge on genera business processes, industry practices and standards, operational and management reporting standards
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Flexibility to adapt to evert changing IT and business environment
  • Knowledge on NetSuite is a plus
