Job Description
Mission of Function:
-
This position is responsible for the receiving and transmittal, distribution and safekeeping, and document reproduction, of all correspondence, and technical documents such as reports procedure, instruction manuals, drawings, daily diary, control logbooks, log sheets recorder charts and drawings of the power plant during the execution phase in both hard and soft copy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports Site Project Manager and Project Engineers in providing construction support services during the execution phase of the project.
- Develops and implements site document control procedures.
- Acts as custodian of all project documents – technical, general incoming and outgoing correspondences, reports, instruction manuals, drawings, log sheets/charts, commissioning/startup records, etc. - and ensure safety and systematic retrieval of such.
- Ensures proper revision and version control of documents being used for the construction of the power plant and supporting facilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- College graduate in a technical discipline, construction, or related field related experience.
- At least 3 years solid experience in power facility construction projects, and/or operating industrial facilities in a document control capacity.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Able to read and use technical documents.
- Knowledgeable in project archiving and filing.
- Has Record Management skills.
- Keen attention to details.
