Job Description
Will be responsible for ensuring that Hedcor will have a robust Reliability and Asset Management System and that internal processes, AP guidelines, and external contracts are met and optimized.
Asset Management Planning
- Formulates Asset Management policies, procedures, and guidelines for Hedcor
- Cascades Asset Management policies and procedures for relevant departments and other support groups teams
- Conducts regular audits to ensure that the relevant departments comply with policies and procedures
- Ensures a regular review is done to continuously improve or update the policies and procedures as necessary
Asset Management System
- Establish and maintain a robust asset management system such as Risk Priority Number (RPN), Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) to support the policies and procedures
- Conducts training and cascade to ensure TMs and relevant parties are familiar and capable of using the system.
- Conducts regular audits to ensure that the relevant departments properly use the established asset management system
- Creates a platform for reporting dashboard to ensure asset management system operating and maintaining parameters can be monitored by relevant users including
- management
- Ensures that the Asset Management Projects are planned and executed in a timely, proper, least cost, and well-organized manner. These includes asset life cycle, system process improvements, strategic planning and collaboration projects with other departments
- Asset Management Internal Process Optimization
- Develops solutions to improve and optimize systems and processes related to Asset Management
Asset Management and Data Analytics
- Establishes data analytics to interpret the O&M operational trends, reliability metrics, and generation forecasts
- Reviews and analyzes reports and highlights deviations and important trending for corrective actions by relevant grids/plants
Risk Management
- Ensures that the risks in the Asset Management Systems are identified, addressed, and managed to acceptable levels
- Ensures that the risk of process and equipment failures identified by O&M are addressed, monitored, and managed by conducting regular reviews of RPN forms with them and monitoring the status of risk mitigation actions
Hydrology (Existing Plants)
- Provides improvement of the methods in the installation of hydrologic gauging stations (e.g. streamflow and rainfall) at HPP components to gather data critical in understanding the river and rainfall characteristic of a catchment
- Approval of the results in streamflow gauging and sediment transport measurement at gauging stations in weirs
- Approval of the Annual Generation forecasts for approval before it is given to existing hydropower plants and provides recommendations to the management
- Approval of the results of the Water Availability Analysis Modeling to determine catchment yield
- Approval of the results of the HEC-RAS Modeling to determine flood levels with every corresponding flood magnitudes calculated at each existing hydropower system components
- Approval of the Flood Report for management approval which is essential in the flood mitigation works
- Assesses and evaluates RREM tools results calculations prepared by the Water Resources Engineer for existing plants for regulatory and permitting uses
- Reviews the schedules of water resources engineering activities for existing plants Participates in O&M meetings for troubleshooting problems regarding asset management, data analytics, and water resources issues
Stakeholder Engagement
- Conducts meeting with stakeholders to resolve issues and concerns related to Reliability and Asset Management
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ME/EE/CE)
- Preferably holds Post Graduate diploma/ Master’s Degree
- Must be a Licensed Engineer (ME/EE/CE)
- At least five (5) years related work experience in renewable energy generation
- 1 vacant positions available in La Trinidad, Benguet / Davao City
