Survey Engineer  

The Survey Engineer will assist in the implementation of all survey activities necessary for meeting the timelines of the Renewable Energy Plant Projects & other related projects. The position will also conduct periodic internal calibration/evaluation of survey instruments.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Conduct the survey to determine precise location and measurement of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for the projects.
• Assist in the Horizontal and Vertical control surveys reconciled in a NAMRIA (National Mapping and Resource Information Authority) registered control points.
• Support the implementation of the construction survey program, supervision of party chiefs, and management of day-to-day survey activities to ensure that construction priorities for surveying are met.
• Maintain a log of all electronic drawings files.
• Ensure all survey equipment are regularly maintained, checked, collimated, and calibrated
• Ensure all construction operations conform to survey industry best practices
• Review the computation of field stakeout data from design drawings and the accurate interpretation and representation of data captured in the field
• Review survey plans such as topographic maps, profile, cross-sections, and boundary surveys.
• Prepare survey CAD drawings/sketch, lot and location plans from raw survey data.

Willing to travel or be relocated to the project sites.

• At least 2 years related work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering
• Licensed Engineer
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
