Job Description
The Video Editor Staff is responsible to facilitate studio and field-based video production, including planning and editing ACJ programs.
Other responsibilities are as follows:
- Edit ACJ’s programs until s/he achieves desired end result.
- Work with and manipulate raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects.
- Rearrange and splice scenes need to be reshot.
- Insert music, sound, or optical effects.
- Make sure that all aspects of the video all fit together logically and accurately.
- Give suggestions on which part of the video work effectively to convey a message, as well as which parts are unnecessary and should be cut from the final program.
- Perform technical duties in the production of video and audio productions.
- Research on new technology and trends.
- Make recommendation to departments for upgraded software and other technical equipment purchase.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts or any combination of education and training which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities.
- 1-2 years video editing experience in television environment.
- Skilled in Final Cut Pro.
- Excellent level of communication skill.
- Team player, creative, and can work within deadlines.
- Able to work under extreme pressure.
- Willing to work for long hours and on night shifts.
- Willing to work in BGC, Taguig.
