ZEN Rooms, the game-changer startup in the hospitality industry, is searching for a Sr. BI Analyst to expand the company's successful business.

About the role

The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst (revenue management) will be in charge of automating revenue management KPI dashboards by collating data inputs from multiple systems in congruence with the ever changing operational (and data warehousing) practices of one of SEA’s fastest growing hospitality companies

Responsibilities:

• On revenue management’s directive, extracting, cleaning and manipulating data from multiple systems/sources for analysis, partnering with IT to create data views, and leading the creation of reports to support data-driven revenue management decisions
• Collaborating with the rest of the business intelligence team to be continually updated on company’s standardised exceptions and algorithms which affect the calculations of revenue management KPIs
• Collating various resources on data maintenance to ensure the timeliness of the information.
• Assisting in end-to-end project implementation whilst suggesting improvements of data warehousing practices
• Stress testing accuracy and reviewing historical data for sanity checks wherever applicable
• Coordinating with end-users, stakeholders and subject matter experts to define and refine business requirements
• Participating in Business Intelligence systems documentation and integrating testing, training, implementing and end-user rolling-out

Academic and Professional Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree: IT, Computer Science or Business-related course such as Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy
• At least 1 year of experience in Business Intelligence systems (ie. Power BI and one of Tableau, MicroStrategy, or other BI tools), must include data query, analysis, and visualization

Skillsets:

• Intermediate SQL skills (MySQL, Postgre, Oracle, Teradata), specifically query creation and tuning
• Strong analytical skills; could evaluate, analyze and present data
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
