Role: Business Development Executive

XSEED Education, an innovative Singapore-based education company, is entering the Philippines and we are looking to hire a Business Development Executive based in Manila (NCR) to work closely with our Philippines team and executive team in Singapore to establish XSEED’s market presence and grow the business nationwide.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • School Engagement and Acquisition:
    • Build a robust sales pipeline of schools with support from XSEED’s executive team
    • Lead sales process with schools from lead generation to deal closing and cash collection
    • Prospect new clients via sales call, telephone, direct email and networking events
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Develop detailed insights into the local education sector including trends, competition and regulatory changes
    • Manage and expand the database of schools and relevant information for engagement efforts
  • Business Development:
    • Organize local conferences, seminars & marketing sessions for prospective customers
    • Source and secure local external vendors when required

Kualifikasi Minimum

Experience:

  • Strong background in complex B2B solution selling
  • Education sector understanding or knowledge preferred but not required
  • International experience and cross-cultural sensitivity preferred

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of work experience – both large and small company experience preferred; 1-2 years of work experience in a multinational company preferred.
  • Bachelor Degree, advanced (Masters) degree preferred
  • Attitude
  • Aggressive, hungry, team player and ambitious; yet is ethical, mature and has high integrity
  • Excellent work ethic (hard working, transparent/non-political)
  • An interest and passion for education or other field with social impact/meaning

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability pitch, negotiate and close a complex B2B solution sale
  • Business development – raising awareness, new school acquisition & market expansion
  • Partnership, territory and market development throughout the Philippines
  • Willingness to handle operational functions & duties including logistics, fulfillment and customer relations / service
