Web Developer  

We are looking for experienced software developers who love programming and are eager to continuously expand their knowledge and improve their skills in software development.

As a software developer, your essential job functions are:

• Design, build and maintain software applications for various industries
• Manage full application development life-cycle
• Deploy applications
• Integrate software and systems
• Collaborate with designers

• At least 2 years of recent relevant work experience
• Good foundation in computer science and software design
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) design and MVC principles
• Writes well-structured and clean code
• Can easily adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and tools
• Can easily adapt to different software development methodologies
• Has good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Has good mathematical aptitude
• Willing to and can work well both as an individual and as a team member
• Comfortable with using CLI
• Familiarity with any source code control system (preferably Git)
• Good work ethics

These qualifications are not required, but highly considered as well:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Strong foundation in computer science, software design, data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• Experience in any of the following:
  • Java or Python
  • Any Java or Python web framework (preferably Spring, Grails, Django, Flask, web2py, web.py)
  • Any ORM for Java or Python
  • Any RDBMS (preferably MySQL or MariaDB)
  • Any JavaScript MV* framework (preferably Angular)
  • HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience in developing single-page web applications
• Experience in database design
• Familiarity with Linux / Unix and shell scripting
