Accounting Manager  

The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. He is responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements and compliance to all regulatory requirements. He is responsible for managing the accounting team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategies and objectives.
• Manage accounting daily operations. Ensure implementation of controls and process.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions including but not limited to: accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.
• Create credit and collections policies for the customers and payment policy for the suppliers
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and financial.
• Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
• Ensure company’s adherence to Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations. Monitors filing and regulatory compliance.
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
• Meet financial accounting objectives. Prepare and present KPIs to stakeholders.
• Ensure coordination to outsource partner regarding taxation and other BIR / SEC related concerns.
• Escalation of Finance concerns and propose resolution to address issues.
• Spearhead auditing process.
• Must be willing to accept changes, other tasks and responsibilities not mentioned above for the overall growth of the company.

• Graduate of Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant.
• With in-depth experience in using any ERP accounting systems.
• Adept in accounting and finance management principles.
• Experience in expense reporting and payable processing.
• With a high level of efficiency, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledgeable of Bank transactions, disbursement and reconciliations.
• Able to develop and establish accounting policies, procedures and controls.
• Knowledgeable of Auditing principles and process.
