Primary Function

They are looking for an accountant with experience in using Xero Software. The ideal candidate will be an experienced accountant and will work with other departments to input invoices into Xero, examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries. The candidate does NOT need to know Australian Tax Laws, although it’s a plus if they do. If this sounds like you, please read on.

Responsibilities

• Entering Invoices into Xero and allocating correctly
• Managing Payables
• Managing Receivables
• Reconcile eCommerce Transactions
• Reconcile Bank Accounts
• Preparing Financial Reports
• Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls
• Review and Optimize Processes
• Payroll Processing of PH Company
• Managing Local Philippine Books and Australian Books
• Local Philippine Tax Knowledge and Compliance of PH Company
• Prepare Income Tx Returns and Corporate Reporting Requirements for PH Company
• Complete end of month closing procedures
• Australian Tax knowledge a plus, but not required

Benefits

Base Pay: P40,000-P55,000
Allowance: P1,500 (food/transpo)

13th Month Pay

Location: Metrowalk, Pasig City

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm AU time, (6am to 3pm Manila)

Pre-Screening will be done via Video Call

Key Competencies / Minimum Experience

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree of accounting or any related course
• Minimum 2 years experience in Accounting role with CPA License
• Ecommerce or retail experience preferred
• Must be competent in AU & PH accounting and bookkeeping standards
• Must be competent in Xero software (non-Negotiable)
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• A problem solving and solution-orientated mindset
• Proficient in complex Microsoft Excel functions and pivots
• Able to communicate efficiently and effectively with senior management
• High attention to detail
• Friendly and patient manner and Assertive
