Senior Web Developer  

Working within our development team you will be leveraging the latest tools and techniques to create engaging, performant front end solutions for many of our key clients. The successful applicant will have a demonstrable track record in front end delivery on a range of applications, a good eye for design, and a passion for delivering the best possible digital experiences.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & CORE CAPABILITIES

• Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages
• Maintain and improve website
• Optimize applications for maximum speed
• Design mobile-based features
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve the usability
• Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
• Write functional requirement documents and guides
• Create quality mockups and prototypes
• Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
• Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field
• Extensive experience of front end development and the delivery of digital projects
• At least 2 years of experience in UI/UX Design and web development
• Good understanding of advanced Javascript frameworks (VuesJS, AngularJS or ReactJS) or CSS pre-processing (LESS or SASS) is an advantage
• A basic grasp of user experience design and prototyping concepts
• Knowledge in rapid prototyping tools such as Axure, UXPin, or Sketch is preferable
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries, AJAX, JSON, build tools and responsive development
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop/Sketch and creating "pixel perfect" HTML/CSS from .psd/sketch files
• Good understanding of usability, accessibility and cross browser compatibility issues
• Previous exposure to Front End development for CMS platforms such as Drupal, Wordpress and Sitecore
• Experience working in both an Agile or Waterfall delivery process
• A team player that is always willing to help and takes pride in producing the best outcome for the client at every step of the way
• Good understanding of task runners and workflow management tools such as Gulp, Webpack and NPM scripts
• Good understanding in Git version control
• Good understanding in automated deployment tools such as Jenkins
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) to interface with project managers and clients
• Ability to manage time for efficient delivery of work
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
