Quality Assurance Analyst  

We are looking for a qualified Quality Assurance Analyst to join our IT team.

You will be responsible for testing software and other computer applications to ensure that they function properly and efficiently. This can include new software or software that needs to be upgraded or modified.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & CORE CAPABILITIES

• Analyze functional specifications for web and mobile applications and create test scenarios
• Create Test Objective Matrices to ensure sufficient test coverage
• Write test cases for approved test scenarios
• Execute test cases (System, Integration, Cross-browser / Device, Regression & Smoke testing)
• Raise identified defects in JIRA as per existing template
• Assist test lead to manage and report testing status to project stakeholders
• Liaise with Business Analyst regarding Functional Specifications & triage with developers when bugs are identified.
• Continue to foster a culture of fun, commitment, and learning

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field
• Minimum 2 years as Quality Assurance analyst in IT industry
• 2+ years’ experience with native iOS and Android mobile application testing is desired
• 2+ years experience with responsive web testing (using Browser Stack an advantage)
• 1+ year working with Invision, Photoshop or Sketch for UI validation
• Prior experience in JIRA & TestRail is desired.
• Ability to work in a waterfall or agile methodology
• Ability to smoke test a solution to highlight any critical issues
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) to interface with project managers and clients
• Ability to manage time for efficient delivery of work
• Desire to take ownership the project that you are working on to produce the best outcome for the client at every step of the way
