Merchandiser  

Promotes products, assists customers in their purchase, and conducts daily inventory of items while ensuring that goods are attractively displayed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Reports to Retail Sales Supervisor all sales updates and other concerns.

2. Responsible for achieving the monthly sales targets.

3. Responsible for timely and proper display and replenishment of merchandise.

4. Receives and checks accuracy of all product deliveries and reports discrepancies immediately.

5. Conducts inventory as scheduled and forwarding of inventory every 5th of the month.

6. Identifies and segregates items that are slow moving, damaged, dirty and other reasons for pull-out.

7. Safeguards merchandise from external and internal losses (e.g. theft, damage, etc.) and responsible for any loss or damage of the items.

8. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness at the selling and stockroom area.

9. Prepares and submits accurate sales, inventory and competitor sales reports.

10. Provides fast, efficient and courteous installation services at all times.

1. At least college level

2. At least one (1) year working experience as a promodiser/merchandiser, preferably with basic technical knowledge

3. A pleasing personality

4. Excellent communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills

5. Confidence motivation, and determination and the drive to work towards targets

6. A team player but able to exercise considerable independence and initiative in daily activities

7. Keen attention to details
