Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements.
- Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders.
- Visit establishments to evaluate needs or to promote product or service sales.
- Maintain customer records.
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms.
- Quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications.
- Contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs.
- Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
- Select or assist customers in selecting products based on customer needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
- Prepare sales presentations or proposals to explain product specifications or applications.
- Complete expense reports, sales reports, or other paperwork.
- Verify that delivery schedules meet deadlines.
- Identify prospective customers using business directories, leads from existing clients, participation in organizations, or trade show or conference attendance.
- Inform customers of estimated delivery schedules, service contracts, warranties, or other information pertaining to purchased products.
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information.
- Advise customers on product usage to improve production.
- Stock or distribute resources, such as samples or promotional materials.
- Provide feedback to the management so that products can be tailored to clients' needs.
- Initiate sales campaigns to meet sales and production expectations.
- Verify customer credit ratings.
- Visit establishments, such as hotels, restaurant, and catering services to determine product sales.
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
- Forward orders to the warehouse as approved by her immediate superior.
- Negotiate with retail merchants to improve product exposure, such as shelf positioning and advertising.
- Check stock levels and reorder merchandise as necessary.
- Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a business degree
- Possess atleast 2 years of working experience related to wholesale or sales
- Knows more about grocery products and wines
- Independent and driven to meet or even exceed sales targets
- Takes responsibility and pride in completing commitments and solving challenges
- Communicates effectively in English both written and oral
- Excellent customer service
- Microsoft Office proficient and internet savvy

The name Terry’s, as a brand, started in the Philippines by way of Terry Selection, Inc., (formerly Gourmet & Wine Experts, Inc.) an import and distribution company. The company became known for supplying prestigious products from well known regions of the world to wholesale and retail channels. The wholesale activity started in November 1999. The first Terry Selection -The Gourmet Store- opened in September 2000.
Terry Selection, Inc. has since expanded and currently operates retail, restaurant and wholesale businesses in the Philippines.
Terry’s Bistro has currently four branches located in upscale areas of Metro Manila. Alongside every branch is Terry’s The Gourmet Store.
