Security Content Developer  

Responsible for identifying and parsing individual security requirements from regulatory documents; classifying security requirements into security categories and domains; participating in the development of manual test procedures for each of the parsed security requirements; and assisting in the maintenance of the security knowledgebase in accordance with industry best practices.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop manual test procedures for parsed security requirements.
• Maintain the client’s security knowledge base in accordance with industry best practices.
• Contribute to the improvement of the client’s knowledge base by creating and maintaining the relationships between vulnerability alerts and vulnerability plug-ins and any associated vulnerability patches.
• Maintain consistent quality and timely delivery of content output to clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in any Information Technology-related or computer-related courses
• With six (6) months to one (1) year of experience in security assessment, systems engineering, security analysis, malware analysis, security operations center, technical support, and/or security QA specialist
• Technical Skills
  • Basic knowledgeable of security applications
  • Basic knowledgeable of firewall configuration
  • Basic knowledgeable of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, LDAP, VPN
  • Basic knowledgeable of computer system troubleshooting
  • Basic Knowledge of IT security concepts and practices
  • Knowledge in security infrastructure or network architecture best practices
  • Basic knowledgeable of internet and information technology concepts and practices
  • Basic knowledgeable of XML (OCIL, OSCAL, XSL)
  • Basic knowledgeable of any programming languages (Python, VBA)
  • Basic knowledgeable of Microsoft Excel
  • Basic knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
  • Basic knowledge of the different software methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of any enterprise-level applications
  • Knowledge in NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Knowledge in Cybersecurity risk management solutions
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud computing
  • Basic Knowledge of IT security concepts and practices
