Native Social Media Writer  

Overall Functions / Job Objective:
Native social media writers’ main responsibility is to perform copywriting duties for native content produced by StoryLabs. They are data-driven and savvy social-first storytellers with an eye for compelling visuals.

Specific Functions:

• Write headlines and captions to promote native content (i.e., native articles and native videos) on Facebook and Instagram—the copy must follow the tone of Summit Media titles and comply with the Facebook advertising policy
• Produce copy for native social posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
• Work closely with StoryLabs designers on the selection and production of images to be used for native content and native social posts
• Collaborate with editors (both native advertising and editorial) to pitch and conceptualize content for social media
• Manage user comments on native social posts and posts for native content
• Assist in setting up ads sets on Facebook Ads Manager to optimize the performance of native content and social posts
• Other duties assigned by the manager

• Candidates must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, creative writing, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in written English, impeccable grammar and attention to detail are a must.
• Has a knack for writing copy suited especially for social media and the ability to capture the voice of each Summit Media title.
• Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, though not required, is an advantage.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Mandaluyong City.
• Customer-centricity, flexibility, and grit are essential.
• Demonstrated interest in fashion, beauty, and pop culture.
• Preferably experienced employees (1-2 years) specializing in publishing or advertising.
• Full-time position is available.
