Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Prepares tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities or schedule of quantities with the Construction Officer and/or the Local Designer;
- Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and, where appropriate, negotiate with the contractors;
- Undertakes cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work;
- Assists in establishing a brand’s requirements and undertakes feasibility studies;
- Performs risk, value management and cost control;
- Advises on procurement strategy;
- Identifies, analyze and develops responses to commercial risks;
- Prepares and analyze costings for tenders;
- Provides advice on contractual claims;
- Analyze outcomes and writes detailed progress reports;
- Maintains awareness of the different building contracts in current use;
- Works to keep the project on time
- Works to keep the project within the budget
- Ensures that construction costs and production are managed as efficiently as possible
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Licensed Civil Engineer or Architect
- 2 years relevant working experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino, both written and oral
- Possess impressive numeracy skills to handle the financial and mathematical calculations
- Organised and methodological with a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrates innovative approaches to problem solving
- Good negotiator-Ability to negotiate across the various levels of any construction environment
- High degree of personal motivation
- Commercial acumen
- Team Player-ability to work as part of a close knit management team
- Can manage numerous activities / projects simultaneously both short and long term.
- Ability to work on own initiative and with the minimum of supervision
- Outgoing personality essential for dealing directly with Clients and their design team
- Flexibility with regard to working across all areas of the business, and hours to meet the requirements of this challenging position
- Proficient with Microsoft software
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Industry knowledge and understanding
