Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a talented and passionate Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. Whether you are an experienced professional or a newcomer with the right skills and enthusiasm, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web, Android, and iOS applications.

We are seeking for a Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for our web, Android, and iOS applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in test automation and a background in coding. We value potential and passion, so if you are eager to learn and grow in the field of test automation, we want to hear from you. You will work closely with our development and QA teams to identify testing needs, create test plans, and execute automated tests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium, RSpec, and Ruby.
• Design and implement automated test scripts for Android applications using Java, Appium, and LambdaTest.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure applications are testable and identify test requirements.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs.
• Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Report and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in test automation.
• Participate in training and mentoring sessions to enhance your skills in test automation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A passion for coding and quality assurance.
• Basic understanding or hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Selenium, RSpec, Ruby, Java, Appium, and LambdaTest.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with Git version control.

Bonus skills:

• Experience working in Linux environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Knowledge of other test automation tools and frameworks.
• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and services.
• Experience with JMeter.
