Frontend Engineer

Sportalitys Manila Office is looking for a Frontend Engineer with at least 6 years of experience. The candidate should have a strong background in Frontend development and really love to solve hard frontend challenges and improve the performance of our products.

Since we are a fairly small company, you, together with your skills, experiences, and preferences, will be impactful to both the rest of the development team as well as the company as a whole.

Who you are:

• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• 6-7+ years of software development experience purely focused on front-end development;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Strong background in modern Javascript frameworks;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• Great knowledge of performance, SEO, cross-browser compatibility, and security best practices.
• Strong grasp on designing reusable front-end components and UI design patterns.
• Demonstrable unit-testing experience;
• Like to work in small teams with a lot of freedom and responsibilities;
• Eager to find and learn new techniques to use in daily work;

Required skills:

• VueJS (we are using the latest versions - 3.x)
• Typescript, HTML, CSS, Vuex, VueRouter
• Webpack
• Git, Jira, CI/CD, Jest testing
• OWASP Security Principles
