Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Plan and manage all daily operations
- Creates and plans editorial board with his team
- Hire, coach and supervise personnel
- Plan and approve assignments for writers and editors
- Control schedules and enforce deadlines (for writers, photographers, designers etc.)
- Setting individual and team tasks with expectations, deliverables and compliance to KPI and Metrics
- Oversee proofreading procedures and edit copy when necessary
- Reviews, all articles and photos for quality and accuracy, and provide suggestions if needed, as well as potential legal issues or potential libel, slander or copyright infringements before publishing.
- Lead evaluating finalized copy for compliance with policies, style and tone
- Meets regularly with the team, stakeholders and cross departments to discuss issues, plans and other business relating to content/editorial
- Resolve issues as they arise
- Generates ideas for new ways of doing things, such us new technology or tools, implementing ways or campaigns to increase readership (from all digital assets and app usage, and how to utilize new media
- Attend events on behalf of the company or marketing team
- Conduct interviews
- Recruit bloggers and freelance writers
Kualifikasi Minimum
- BS/BA in journalism or relevant field.
- Proven experience as managing editor or relevant role
- Exceptional ability in copywriting and editing
- Proficiency in English
- Working knowledge of online platforms like CMS, WordPress and SEO concepts
- Abilities in planning and coordinating people and operations
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and people abilities
- Have a good grasp of business operations and strategic planning
- Reliability and efficiency
- Attention to detail
- Adept in Social Listening and Tools used
- Up To Date with daily issues both global and local
