IT Lead  

SMDV is a tech-focused Venture Capital that partners with entrepreneurs building exceptional technology companies that aim to change the landscape in Indonesia and the region.

We are looking for Head of Technology where you will be doing:

• Will act as the brain of the entire Science & Technology aspect of the company.
• This role is/will be a combination of hands on application development; hiring / mentoring / training; and team leadership / project management.
• Develop a technical strategy for the company, which involves goal setting, tech road map, analysing risks and potential roadblock with the Management Team.
• Build a framework of top-class tech team by proactively developing and maintaining team standards, documentation, tools, and best practices.
• Drive project management execution to ensure quality, security compliance and timely delivery of projects and solutions.
• Works with other departments to implement and enhance technologies to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Keep an eye out for new technological developments that can help the company optimize efficiency and productivity.

• At least 5 years of working experience Tech area.
• Minimum 3 years of technical leadership experience is preferred.
• Passionate in leading teams and growing people.
• Understand the best practices of infrastructure in e-commerce, tech services, content sharing, and messaging platform.
• Expertise in building robust, cost-effective web applications on cloud with the proven ability to handle millions of users.
• Must have a deep understanding of traditional relational database and how to architect a structure that can scale.
• Great vision of IT roadmap and infrastructure to support business roadmap.
• Experienced in building world class software engineering best practices.
