Internal Audit Manager | Tagaytay Based  

Generally responsible for overseeing the financial and audit engagements of the organization and ensure that a high level of professionalism and competence is maintained.

• Prepares Internal Audit Updates for presentation to Audit and Risk Management Committee or to the Management Committee.
• Develops audit engagement plans and work programs.
• Understands client business and risk management programs and provides appropriate audit services to meet client expectations.
• Maintains an updated knowledge about company standards, policies, and regulations.
• Identifies critical issues and areas to focus on.
• Oversees the daily activities of audit team to ensure deliverables within allotted.
• Reviews work papers to confirm audit procedures and related documentation support conclusion is organized in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing being adopted by IAD.
• Manages the team by way of providing them the necessary behavioral and technical training i.e. audit tools and technology, mentoring, counseling and regularly evaluating the performance of each audit Team member.
• Researches on industry trends, current events, standards, and best practices to challenge the team's individual analytical/ intellectual ability.
• Finalizes audit reports and leads the discussion of findings for brainstorming and validation purposes.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the department, with audit clients, Top management, Audit and Risk Management Committee, and External Auditors.

• Certified Public Accountant.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be assigned in Tagaytay.
