Tele Collections Manager  

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Achieves the collection targets and goals set by the Head of Collections
• Formulates tele collection strategies and initiatives according to the company’s business strategies and direction to enhance collection productivity, reduce cost, and minimize operational risk
• Secures the section’s performance by establishing the collection strategy, policies, and procedures as needed
• Secures all collection activities as being carried out in compliance with Company’s set best practices, standards, and guidelines
• Monitors and analyzes account performance and trends to determine points of improvement
• Endorses new tools or technology to improve collection effectiveness
• Writes and reports on overall section productivity and KPI attainments for reference of the Head of Collections
• Coordinates with the Head of Collections in determining new strategies, procedures, or policies for improving the section’s performance
• Supports subordinates with difficult accounts
• Coaches and guides Tele Collection Associates for improving in client interaction and problem-solving
• Coordinates with other section and department heads of the Company as necessary to streamline and improve tele collection operations
• Responsible for managing manpower in terms of budget/capacity plan as well as screening interviews of potential candidates for the section
• Performs other assigned tasks from time to time

Job Specifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related course
• At least 10 years relevant experience in financial institutions, particularly in Collection, Banking, or a related field
• At least 5 years relevant experience of managing/supervising a team
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills for giving/receiving information and interacting with clients/employees
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be very detail-oriented so as to avoid the possibility of serious errors and loss
• Proficient in MS Office/Google Documents, Excel/Google Sheets, and Powerpoint/Google Slides
• Excellent analytical and judgement/problem-solving skills
