Accounting Specialist | Laguna  

I. ROLES

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for assisting the Plant Operations team in the preparation of all accounting and financial data. He/she will also provide management with accurate information in the areas of costs, budget, receivables, sales accounting, and compliances, in an efficient manner.

II. ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Invoicing
  • Prepare sales invoice and billing statements.
  • Act as the Petty Cash Custodian to support operations expenses.
  • Issue, control and safekeep, and record petty cash expenses.
  • Submit replenishments and ensure proper liquidation.
• Item code / Business Partner enrollment
  • Process enrollment of new business partner and new item codes in LN system.
• Reprtorials
• Sales Reports
  • Generate sales report per KAS farm out type (export, indirect export, local sales) weekly, monthly, and yearly.
• PEZA report
  • ​​​​​Prepare Ecozone Monthly Performance Report (EMPR) and submit online to PEZA (https://apps.ho.peza.gov.ph/ezmpr/) both logistics / warehousing and export / manufacturing.
• BIR
  • Ensure payment of monthly compensation and expanded and VAT.
  • Manual filing of returns.
  • Other standard report schedules.
• Fixed Asset Monitoring
  • Prepare lapsing schedule.
• Permits and licenses
  • Secure business permit, Mayor’s permit, and other permits related to LGU.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or relevant course,
• Preferably 2 or more years experience in accounting.
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be assigned in Calamba, Laguna.
