Senior Specialist | Financial Accounting

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Chart of Accounts Maintenance process as well as manage related controls and governance efforts
• Responsible for monthly close jobs scheduling and monitoring
• Take the lead role in trouble shooting issues with external interfaces as well as dealing with unprocessed transactions on a monthly basis
• Responsible for maintenance of Cross Validation Rules, control reports, allocations and recurring journal setup
• Responsible for DBA tasks related to the account reconciliation tool (BlackLine)
• Take the lead role in assessing and completing special projects (as it relates to COA & GL close)
• Support Record-To-Report team as needed in other areas

What We’re Looking For:

• Education should include a college degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Basic technical accounting knowledge to analyze and resolve issues; experience in handling chart of accounts and/or GL close is an advantage.
• Ability to be assertive to follow up on issues and responsible in adhering to deadlines
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle system design and reporting capabilities preferred
• Strong working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Must be flexible in shift schedule; willing to go on a night shift during quarter close.
• Must be willing to work in Pasig.
