PC Replacement and Project Coordinator (PC Refresher)  

The Role

The Workplace Productivity Services PC Refresh Coordinator will serve as the single point of contact for coordination of all aspects of the PC refresh process.

The Impact

• Ensure that leased personal computers are procured, configured, deployed, replaced and returned on time, on budget and with quality.
• Coordinate refresh activities across multiple constituencies – Divisional and Regional IT points of contact, Support Services, Finance, and end users.
• Help identify and drive process efficiencies to improve the end user experience while simultaneously lowering the cost of the process.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the following aspects of the PC Refresh process:
  • Consolidate and validate upcoming refresh quantities and types based upon data from Asset Management, leasing provider and SCCM
  • Gather replacement PC requirements from Divisional and Regional IT representatives and/or directly from users.
  • Establish refresh schedules with Support Services managed services provider
  • Coordinate ordering activities, including financial approvals, with regional Buying Centers.
  • Oversee receipt, configuration and delivery of new PC’s with Support Services
  • Oversee old device return activities, including asset retention, data wipe, lessor validation.
• Work with Service Now tools team, Support Services and other stakeholders to identify and implement automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Create and maintain documentation and policies related to the refresh process.
• Assist with the integration of M&A entities in to the refresh process.
• Prepare and distribute reports related to the Refresh process.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in IT project management, preferably with PC refresh projects
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
