Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Books reservations for air travel, hotel and transfers, following up when necessary to complete the reservation.
- Responds timely to requests for price quotations using automated systems for domestic and international routings.
- Able to manually construct fares and add applicable taxes, surcharges and mark-ups as necessary on a per transaction basis for flights, hotels, and other products.
- Conforms to the company's corporate and leisure travel standards, operation’s protocols and processes consistently.
- Promote fares and rates that match the company-advertised airline promotions, corporate's travel program policies and negotiated contracts. Applies promo fares and corporate discounted fares/rates accordingly.
- Keeps abreast of travel-related information, such as new airfares, routes, top airlines, frequently travelled destinations, new immigration and airline policies, etc.
- Able to achieve all service level agreement of the business which includes but is not limited to.
- Maintains client profiles, ensuring special requests and reward program information such as frequent flyer / driver / hotel stay are included.
- Monitors, sorts and works global distribution systems (GDS) queues daily to maintain quality control.
- Take ownership of the clients assigned to with highest importance.
- Basic knowledge of airline terminology, codes, fare basis, airline rules and tariffs, resource guides, books, and industry contacts.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree preferably Tourism or any Travel related courses.
- Minimum of One (1) year experience in the travel or customer service-related industry.
- Standard fares or ticketing experience in handling corporate and leisure clients for the travel industry.
- Basic knowledge in using GDS such as Amadeus or Sabre and its native environment.
- Good English oral and written communication.
- Detail oriented with utmost focus on quality and efficiency.
- Must have a minimum of 40 WPM typing speed.
- Has customer service related industry background.
- International and domestic routing knowledge and familiarity with world geography.
- Knowledgeable in the travel industry terms and concepts.
- Mathematical competencies for fare computation and invoicing.
- Demonstrated internet research skills in providing travel related information to customers.
- Flexible to work on week-nights and/or weekends when needed or as scheduled.
- Can effectively communicate with colleagues and peers from other departments.
- Must be a team player and a follower.
- Can work and remain calm under pressure.
