Quality Assurance Officer  

The role of the Quality Management Officer is to develop and conceptualize Food Safety monitoring programs and Quality Management Standards; to be implemented across all Ministop Stores and suppliers. This would entail you to allot a significant amount of time roving to visit the different Ministop branches. It would be the key responsibility of the incumbent to monitor the adherence of all store-based personnel and suppliers to the existing Quality Assurance programs and policies. This is to ensure, that product quality and safety is at an optimal level. To perform the job, the incumbent must possess basic technical know-how on local and international Food Safety Standards. The incumbent is expected to perform the following:

• Carry-out detailed qualitative and quantitative assessments of products and processes as seen in the store-level and at the primary stages of production
• Reinforce the compliance of all store-based personnel and suppliers to the food safety standards by means of conceptualizing policies and new processes
• Facilitate training sessions for store-based personnel to provide documented quality standards as guidelines for their day-to-day work
• Perform tasks as needed

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology or equivalent
• Must have basic technical know-how on local and international Food Safety Standards
• Must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience gained from companies in-line with food services or food production
• Knowledge in local and international food safety standards
• Must have above average oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Must amenable to do field work
