IT Financial Analyst  

A financial analyst experienced in management and cost accounting is required to work on deriving the cost of IT services. The analyst will report to the Senior Information Technology Officer (Portfolio Management) under the supervision of the Principal IT Specialist (Portfolio Management).

Roles and Responsibilities:

The financial analyst will perform research, review and analysis of IT cost of services in accordance with the IT service catalog or such IT service as assigned by the IT portfolio management unit.

• Conduct review of contracts and other financial documentation sources
• Conduct research on IT markets, prices, vendor directions, and related information sources on IT software licensing parameters, goods and services
• Collect cost data and other relevant information across different units in ADB
• Prepare reports on cost of services and create/manage a repository of reports on cost of services
• Generate budget and cost reports
• Generate other adhoc reports as required

• At least 5 years of experience in management and cost accounting, preferably in an IT capacity
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong background in statistics, cost accounting and/or managerial accounting
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Experience in MS Office applications
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be comfortable with working in a multi-cultural environment and interacting with senior executives/managers
• Willing to work in a team, with long hours while under pressure
• CPA or Certified Financial Auditing (CFA) experience preferred
• Experience in building IT business cases
