VP of Engineering  

Ajaib is looking for a VP of Engineering to join our Indonesia founding team and mission to democratize access to investing for millennials in Indonesia (backed by Y Combinator & SoftBank). Generous stock options included.

You will be responsible for managing engineering and developing cohesive codes with high proficiency in multiple languages and be comfortable on both front end and back end programming.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage, develop and recruit engineering talent
• Own engineering vision, reliability and efficiency
• Participate in agile software development, prototyping and code reviews
• Participate in the full development life cycle, including design, coding, testing and production release
• Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development
• You will code mainly in React Native and Django for our Android & iOS applications and website
• Proactively learn domain-specific knowledge on financial services as needed

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Engineering experience managing a team of engineers (past startup/fintech experience is preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top university
• Experience in a few of the following: React Native, Native Android, Nodejs., React web, Django, Python
• Willingness to learn and keep yourself updated in new skills
• Ability to work fast, lead, and collaborate in teams in an evolving environment
