Copywriter  

Copy can include:

• creating headlines, slogans, catchphrases, straplines and body copies, articles
• writing for the website, landing pages, social media, ads, blogs, and mobile applications

Duties and responsibilities:

• familiarise yourself with your clients' products and services, the target audience and their competitors' activities
• liaise with clients and interpret their project briefs
• develop creative ideas and concepts
• write clear, persuasive, original copy through the various iterations of the project
• write articles and blogs
• proofread copy to check spelling and grammar
• amend, revise or redevelop adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account team, clients, or any relevant members/parties
• oversee campaigns through the production stage to completion
• work on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines

Skills required:

• The ability to write and think creatively
• Significant experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct
• A flexible approach and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of internal and external clients
• The ability to work to strict deadlines without compromising on work quality
• Great organizational skills
• An eye for detail
• Strong research skills
