Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Develops and implements collection policies and procedures
- Creates strategies for effective and efficient collection activities. Ensures that these are aligned with the corporate goals and objectives
- Sets operating plans and budget for the department. Controls and manages expenditures
- Reviews efficacy of collection tactics and implements improvement on processes and procedures as needed
- Collaborates with Loans Product Department on creating or modifying client approval guidelines, especially for new loan products
- Leads the efforts in ensuring credit risk management and collections targets are met.
- Conducts regular review of past due accounts and determines effective resolutions that will be beneficial to client and company
- Oversees and monitors daily collection efforts, inclusive of lead prioritization, scheduling and manpower allocation
- Oversees and monitors daily bad debt recovery efforts, distinguishable from payments received from clients in good standing
- Reviews delinquency loan reports and initiate and/or make recommendations for remedial action.
- Provides resolution to customer complaints. Ensures that complaints will be addressed properly and efficiently and that company reputation will be preserved at all times
- Collaborates with a Legal team for the appropriate action to take for bad debts. Set guidelines and parameters to determine the timing for turnover of bad debts for legal action
- Assess and acquires an external collection agency. Sets collection target for the agency. Monitors and assesses the performance of the 3rd party collector
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Graduate of any four-year college course preferably business related
- At least five (5) years of work experience with in-depth knowledge of loans collection and bad debt recovery
- Has experience handling a collection agency
- Proficient and developing collection guidelines and policy
- With a proven good record of collection ratings
