Deskripsi Pekerjaan

It is the overall responsibility of the Credit Specialist to evaluate, assess and interpret financial information of an applicant using a range of criteria to come up with a recommendation to Management on the credit viability and credit worthiness of said applicant or customer. He / She assists the Credit & Collection Manager in enforcing credit policies & internal control.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Master File Maintenance

  • Ensures submission of complete documentary requirements by the Customer prior to credit evaluation as specified in the General Information Sheet (GIS) Form.
  • Ensures timely evaluation and credit investigation on the information provided in the GIS with validation / verification done with customer top Suppliers and Banking Institution as provided by the applicant. As much as possible, have an ocular inspection of the applicant’s site / farm / store / office and residence for proper evaluation of financial capability apart from the FS analysis.
  • Ensures that Credit Line Agreement (CLA) are signed, notarized and have been duly provided to the new customers. If at any given point the agreed credit limits are changed or increased, ensure that a new CLA is prepared to cover the approved changes. Keep these CLA in a Customer File for future reference together with the submitted required documents.
  • Ensures timely set up and creation of the account in the Oracle System to be used by warehouse and all other department when ordering starts.
  • Assists the AR Analysts and the AR Supervisor in the preparation of Collection Letters but not limited to Returned Checks – Notice of Dishonor and monitor receipt of the letter by the customer.
  • Monitors the progress of the payment/replacement of returned checks, up to the point of endorsing the concern to Legal Department for the necessary Legal Demand, following thru on final recommendation with Legal Department up to the ultimate Filing of Case, if the same is warranted.
  • Builds and maintains customer service relationship by attending to customer inquiries and consistently being warm and professional in the day-to-day dealings with external and internal customers.
  • Ensures regular visit to the customer and update the company on any changes as compared to what the business was at the time of application and to assist AR & C&C team on some concerns that may arise in relation to Accounts Receivable of the customer, coming up with recommendation and proposed solution on the concern.
  • Ensures coverage of Risk vis-a vis available Collateral (BG, SBLC, REM) with the company. Advise AVP & VP for Sales when Credit Limit has exceeded the collateral provided and secure approval on Collaterals being offered.
  • Ensure the necessary Loan Agreements (Real Estate Mortgage, Truck Loan Agreement, Gilt & Repop Loans, Ready to Lay (RTL) and Building Loan Agreements are duly signed, notarized and Registered with the Registry of Deeds.
  • Assist the Sales in the verification and evaluation of Real Estate Properties being offered as collateral prior to accepting the same.
  • Seek approval to secure professional assistance on real estate assessment to come up with an appropriate recommendation on Credit Limits to be provided.

Reporting:

  • Ensures accurate and timely submission of month end reports on Customer Set up in relation to Timeliness and Accuracy of Customer Set up.
  • Ensures timely submission of Customer Visit Report to AVP & VP for Sales and Credit & Collection Manager in relation to findings and or recommendations resulting from the customer visit.
  • Provides information on description, location and valuation on Real Estate evaluation done prior to accepting property as collateral, in coordination with professional assesors.
  • Report to C&C Manager, AVP sales & VP Sales any delay in the submission of CLA and or Loan Agreements by the Customer and or Territory Business Manager (TBMs)

Others:

  • Assist the AR Supervisor and the C&C Manager in efficiently and effectively managing the accounts receivables of the company by monitoring and reviewing Credit Limit given to customer vis-à-vis the actual purchases of the customer
  • Support other corporate programs such as ISO/HACCP, 5S, ISMS, Branding, etc. and implementing guidelines cascaded by the company.
  • Performs other task as maybe assigned by C&C Manager and other superiors.

Kualifikasi Minimum

Education:

A Graduate with any degree in Accounting or Finance

Work experience:

At least two (2) years of related experience as Commercial Banking Account Officer from reputable Bank that conducts Credit Evaluation. With experience in Accounting and other computer-related programs.
