Are you a highly experienced software engineer with leadership experience and a passion for sharing knowledge and building best-in-class software teams? Are you someone who likes to enable people to solve problems using technology? Or gets excited about automation and optimization of business processes? Or do you get a buzz from knowing your team’s code is impacting millions of users around the world? Do you thrive on teams that need your experience and guidance to use agile project planning methods to achieve shared goals?

If so, come and help us build our first Software Engineering team in the Philippines, to deliver exceptional features on a dynamic, scalable photo product editing and eCommerce system, which integrates a React front end, with a Laravel back end, using tools and services from Atlassian, AWS, etc.

You should have experience hiring software engineers of all levels, being able to assess technical skills with the following frameworks and languages: HTML5/CSS, React/Angular, JQuery. You should also be able to assess design skill in one or more of the following: Ruby/Rails, Python/Django/Flask, PHP/Laravel. It would be great if you are also comfortable with some of the following concepts: GraphQL, OOP/OOD, polymorphism, SQL, and responsive design using bootstrap, but no worries, you can learn these on the job. We should be excited to work together to build an open culture where the best idea wins, and everyone takes pride in the software their team delivers to benefit our customers, our coworkers, and our company. And strive to build an environment of constant learning, honesty, and flexibility. A fun place to work, but just as importantly, with meaningful projects to work on. It would be great if you have a good grasp of AWS core services, as we design our software with these services in mind, and always look to enhance our capabilities with new cloud service utilization, where it makes sense to use.
