Claims Associate  

• Check and review completeness of forwarded documents
• Check coverage and verification of policy
• Check the premium and verification with accounting department
• Maintain complete copy of all supporting documents forwarded to insurer
• Encode reported claims in the computer
• Transmit complete supporting documents to the insurer
• Follow up lacking documents with the assured
• Follow-up status of claims with the insurer
• Inform clients of the status of his/her claim
• Re-check and re-evaluate computation of probable liabilities
• Monitor status of vehicle being repaired
• Coordinate with the accredited shop how long will it take for the insured to be repaired
• Transmit / deliver claims settlement
• Prepares appeal/reconsideration letter in behalf of the insured
• Recommend closure of filed claims if properly paid and settled in accordance with SOP in settling the claim.
• Prepares monthly claims report and settled claims

- Must be knowledgeable in all lines of insurance

- In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite.

- Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.

- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
