Radiologic Technologist | Davao Chest Clinic and Dispensary  

Summary

Perform radiologic diagnostic procedure and ensures reading of the x-ray. In-charge of the smooth operation of X-Ray Facility.

Primary duties and responsibilities

• Handle X-ray.
• Perform x-ray examinations to new and old cases.
• Develop and process x-ray films/digital images after examination.
• Encode x-ray interpretation of the Radiologist.
• Record and report daily and monthly x-ray examinations.
• Maintain cleanliness and scheduling of preventive maintenance of the x-ray machine and room.
• Source for Philippine College of Radiology Board Certified Radiologists in the area.

Other tasks

• Assist in IT work in the branch.
• Document for events within the clinic.
• Check office supplies regularly and make necessary requisition needed by the clinic.
• Act as property custodian of the clinic.
• Ensure that all major assets are insured and safekeep photocopy of Insurance.
• Send the original to Assistant Executive Director-National Office.
• Prepare yearly inventory of supplies/equipment of the clinic.
• Inform BM/FOD for any training opportunities that PTSI can offer in the area.
• Ensure all DOH requirements to secure and maintain a license to operate an x-ray facility are complied.
• Disseminate to partners reliable and valid information on TB treatment and update on prevention and studies on TB.
• Assist the Branch Manager in locating staff in case of emergencies and documenting their situations.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Branch Manager/Officer-in-Charge.

• Licensed X-ray Technologist.
